Indicating that their scientists and researchers were working nonstop in order to find a cure for this epidemic in addition to the exemplary precautions they have taken against the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19), Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun said, “It is time for international community to get together to find a solution for this threat.”
Altun noted in a thread he shared on his Twitter account that since the outbreak of coronavirus epidemic in December 2019 they had been working diligently in order to stop the spread of coronavirus in Turkey.
Highlighting that they continued to take the most effective precautions in order to deal with the epidemic, Altun noted the following:
"So far we have one confirmed case. The individual is quarantined and under medical care. During this process we have provided timely information about our efforts to the Turkish and international public and we will continue to be fully transparent about it.
In addition to the exemplary precautions we have taken, our scientists and researchers are working nonstop in order to find a cure for this epidemic. It is time for international community to get together to find a solution for this threat.”
