Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun shared a video about the National Solidarity Campaign launched by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with the call “We are self-sufficient, Turkey”.
The video shared by Altun on his Twitter account shows deserted streets and citizens spending time in their homes, stating that life has not stopped and the longed-for sounds of liveliness are rising from inside homes.
"Contributions of our citizens who say “We are self-sufficient” in order to add voice to the voice and life to the life of households in need are being delivered by the state." the video said, and noted that the state provided the soup while the citizens offered salt and pepper to households in need of state aid.
