Delivering a speech during the meeting, President Erdoğan said: “Even if the opposition turns a deaf ear to our calls, we need a democratic, inclusive and libertarian constitution drafted by the hands of civilians. A new constitution is not a luxury but a belated necessity for Türkiye. Steps taken in this direction will help us achieve our goal of the Century of Türkiye more easily and more rapidly.”
