Holding a press conference following the Presidential Cabinet Meeting, President Erdoğan said: “A brand-new path will open up before Türkiye once we get rid of the shackles of terrorism that have been holding our nation back for half a century. As the resources allocated to the fight against terror are channeled to education, health, production and transport, Türkiye’s development journey will further speed up.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a press conference following the Presidential Cabinet Meeting at the Presidential Complex.
“Just like the Türkiye of 2026 is more developed and more competent than the Türkiye of 2002, tomorrow’s Türkiye will be more powerful, more prosperous and more advanced than today’s Türkiye. A brand-new path will open up before Türkiye once we get rid of the shackles of terrorism that have been holding our nation back for half a century. As the resources allocated to the fight against terror are channeled to education, health, production and transport, Türkiye’s development journey will further speed up. All our efforts and endeavors are aimed at building such a Türkiye. There is no compromise, slowing down or backing down from this, nor will there ever be. Whatever we do, we do it to grow Türkiye’s economy, boost its prestige, increase its words’ weight and reinforce its influence,” President Erdoğan said.
