The 6th Summit of the Conference on Cooperation and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) started in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
The summit hosted by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan kicked off at the Independence Palace in Astana. The Summit is attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye, President Vladimir Putin of Russia, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, President Ebrahim Raisi of Iran, President Barham Salih of Iraq, Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar, President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine, Vice President Wang Qishan of China, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, President Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan, President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan of Vietnam as well as President Alexander Lukashenko of observer member Belarus.

During the CICA summit, current regional and international issues as well as issues related to the transformation of the conference into an international organization will be discussed.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Türkiye will also address the leaders at the summit.
