13 agreements were signed between the two countries in the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President Kassym Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan.
Following President Erdoğan’s one-on-one meeting with President Tokayev of Kazakhstan at the Palace of Independence in Astana and his participation in the 6th Meeting of the Türkiye-Kazakhstan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, a signing ceremony for various agreements between the two countries took place.
In this context, the “Declaration of Eternal Friendship and Partnership between the Republic of Türkiye and the Republic of Kazakhstan” was signed by President Erdoğan and President Tokayev.
The other agreements signed between the two countries in the presence of President Erdoğan and President Tokayev are as follows:
- Declaration of Eternal Friendship and Partnership between the Republic of Türkiye and the Republic of Kazakhstan
- Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investments
- Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Establishment, Operation and Activities of Cultural Centres
- Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement between the Republic of Türkiye and the Republic of Kazakhstan on Mutual Judicial Assistance in Legal Matters
- Agreement between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan on a Joint Scholarship Programme
- Statement of Intent between the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye on the Opening of Two Turkish Maarif Foundation Schools in the Republic of Kazakhstan
- Investment Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and TAV Holding on Almaty International Airport
- Cooperation Agreement between Samruk-Kazyna Joint Stock Company and YDA Construction Industry and Trade Joint Stock Company on the Financing of Hospital Construction Projects
- Memorandum of Understanding in the Field of Radio and Television between “Television and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, a State Institution with Economic Management Authority under the Presidential Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT)
- Cooperation Agreement on Oilfield Services between the National Company KazMunayGas JSC, and TPAO
- Memorandum of Understanding on Joint Development of Oil and Gas Projects between the National Company KazMunayGas JSC and TPAO
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Astana International Financial Centre and the İstanbul Financial Centre
- Agreement on the Establishment of a Joint Venture for the Production and Maintenance of ANKA Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
