Presidency’s Directorate of Communications introduces next-generation fact-checking platform in fight against lies and false facts on social media

Presidency's Directorate of Communications introduced a next-generation fact-checking platform to fight against lies and false facts on social media. Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun noted that the platform was currently in the testing phase and added, "This platform which will be put into service very, very soon, will be one of our robust tools in the fight for the truth."

The Directorate of Communications, with its next-generation fact-checking platform "DOĞRU MU?" ("IS IT TRUE?") will reveal whether the news and information circulating on social media are true or false. The platform will also be available for IOS and Android systems.

In his statement, Director of Communications Altun noted that the "DOĞRU MU?" platform that they had been working on for a long time was created to assist users in learning whether the news and information circulating on social media were true or false.

Underlining that the platform was currently in the testing phase, Altun said, "This platform which will be put into service very, very soon, will be one of our robust tools in the fight for the truth."
