Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz of Türkiye attended the international defence, aerospace, and space industry exhibition "SAHA EXPO," held in İstanbul. During a question-and-answer session with journalists, Cevdet Yılmaz addressed relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
According to the İHA news agency, the Vice President stated, "Türkiye supports the establishment of lasting peace in the South Caucasus. Azerbaijan and Armenia have already made significant progress in this regard. We can say that peace between the two countries is just around the corner. Once peace is achieved, the South Caucasus, which holds great strategic importance, will begin to play a more prominent role at both the regional and global levels."
