Turkmenistan and Yunus Emre Institute develop cultural ties in Brussels (Turkmenistan)

Turkmen Ambassador Sapar Palvanov met with Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator Abdullah Demir in Brussels to discuss cultural collaboration opportunities.

The parties discussed collaborating on projects to promote the legacy of the great Turkmen poet, philosopher, and humanist Magtymguly Pyragy using the Yunus Emre Institute's resources.

Ambassador Palvanov proposed launching a joint project centred on the peaceful and humanitarian messages of Magtymguly Pyragy and Yunus Emre, noting that Turkmenistan widely commemorated Magtymguly Pyragy's 300th birth anniversary last year. Both poets have urged humanity to embrace tolerance, peace, and spiritual integrity as they seek harmony and understanding.

As part of Turkmenistan's "Year of Peace and Trust," the parties agreed to strengthen cooperation and promote intercultural dialogue by holding joint events in Brussels.
