On 17 September, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova met with Türkiye’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan, Ahmet Demirok.
The parties discussed priority issues on the Turkmen–Turkish agenda as well as other matters of mutual interest in bilateral cooperation.
They also exchanged views about cooperation among international organisations. According to a statement from the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both sides emphasised the importance of working together within the framework of UNESCO to safeguard and promote intangible cultural heritage.
