Türkiye’s tourism revenues rose by 5.6% in the first quarter of this year, reaching 9.45 billionUSD.
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) stated on Wednesday (30 April) that the increase reflects the continued strength of Türkiye’s tourism sector.
Speaking in İstanbul, Türkiye’s Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, said that the number of visitors to Türkiye reached 8.84 million in the first quarter of 2025. (Reuters)
According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, Türkiye’s total tourism revenues in 2024 reached an unprecedented level of 61.1 billion USD, marking an 8.3% increase compared to 2023.
