According to the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that Türkiye was prepared to offer all forms of assistance in the implementation phase of a potential agreement between the United States and Iran during phone talks with US President Donald Trump and leaders of numerous Middle Eastern countries.
Erdoğan emphasised Türkiye's commitment to solving problems through dialogue and diplomacy.
Erdoğan stated that an agreement to secure free passage through the Strait of Hormuz would promote regional stability and reduce pressure on the global economy.
The statement did not specify the dates of Erdoğan's telephone conversations with leaders from various countries.
