Türkiye urges all parties to end violence (BR24)

Türkiye urged all parties to put an end to the violence that erupted in the aftermath of Israeli and US strikes on Iran, as well as Iran's retaliation. "We call on all parties to cease the attacks immediately. These developments pose risks to the future of our region and global stability," the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in its press release.

In a televised address, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed "deep concern" regarding US and Israeli attacks on "neighbourly Iran". Erdoğan condemned Iran's drone and missile attacks on neighbouring Gulf states, describing them as "unacceptable."

"Türkiye has made significant efforts for a long time to resolve disagreements at the negotiating table. However, the crisis of confidence between the parties could not be overcome," Turkish President Erdoğan said. He stated that "Türkiye's diplomatic efforts" would continue to encourage the parties to return to the negotiating table.
