According to a statement from the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Türkiye held a phone call with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
During the phone call, bilateral relations between Türkiye and the UAE, as well as other regional and international issues, were discussed.
During the conversation, President Erdoğan conveyed Türkiye's commitment to the territorial integrity, national unity, and solidarity of both Yemen and Somalia, as well as its readiness to contribute to the preservation of peace and stability in these regions.
Citing the severe humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, President Erdoğan emphasised that Türkiye is making efforts to alleviate the situation, underscoring the urgent need to progress with reconstruction efforts in Gaza without delay.
