The Türkiye Defence and Aerospace Exhibition is taking place in İstanbul from October 22 to 26.
This year's exhibition highlights Türkiye's latest unmanned combat aerial vehicle, the "Bayraktar TB3", alongside the TALAY UAV, designed specifically for naval warfare.
Unveiled at the exhibition, the Bayraktar TB3 emerges as a significant enhancement over its predecessor, the TB2.
With its impressive ability to land on and take off from aircraft carriers, the TB3 also possesses the capability for autonomous flight and precision assault missions.
Another example of innovation at the exhibition was the TALAY UAV, specifically designed for naval operations. TALAY is able to fly at a low altitude to avoid radar detection, functioning for three continuous hours at a speed of 200 kilometres per hour.
Turkish experts in defence highlight that artificial intelligence technology enables these UAVs to perform instant data analysis, optimise tactics, and minimise human involvement during combat.
