Türkiye showcases its new generation unmanned tower (People’s Republic of China)

During the recent International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEX 2025) in Abu Dhabi, Turkish defence industry firms showcased the TEBER-II unmanned turret.

The turret equipped with remote control technology enhances the firepower of armoured vehicles and optimises the utilisation of the vehicle's internal volume.

The TEBER-II turret features two distinct designs: the first is a conventional two-man turret accommodating a gunner and a commander, while the second is a remote-controlled unmanned turret variant that was introduced in Abu Dhabi.

The primary armament of the TEBER-II unmanned turret consists of a 30 mm MK44 chain gun featuring a capacity of 310 rounds and an impressive maximum firing rate of 100 rounds per minute. The turret is capable of engaging long-range targets effectively, utilising its sighting systems positioned on either side.

The TEBER-II unmanned turret is designed without a turret basket that penetrates the hull, thereby preserving the vehicle's interior volume and enabling increased capacity for personnel and equipment.

Türkiye asserts that the TEBER-II unmanned turret will enhance its competitiveness in the defence sector and provide additional options in the international military trade market.
