Türkiye is ready to help the Malian authorities achieve victory over terrorism in Mali and the Sahel region of Africa. This statement was made by the Turkish military delegation that held talks at the Mali Defence Ministry in Bamako.
According to the Directorate of Information and Public Relations of the Armed Forces of Mali, the delegation chaired by Turkish Ambassador to Bamako Efe Ceylan met with Mali's Chief of Staff, General Oumar Diarra with the agenda of "strengthening and expanding cooperation between Mali and Türkiye."
Pointing out that the cooperation between the two countries is at a "great level," Diarra said, "Türkiye has always been there for us despite many difficulties."
Mali's Chief of Staff recalled that the Mali Armed Forces received the unmanned aerial vehicles and other Turkish vehicles and equipment, adding, "Thanks to this assistance, we were able to conduct pinpoint strikes on the villainous forces."
