Head of Communications Fahrettin Altun of Türkiye accused the Zionist regime of perpetrating violent acts and human rights violations against Palestinians, stating that the regime should be held accountable for its crimes against humanity.
In his post on his X social media account, Altun said, "The Israeli government has an unsatisfiable thirst for blood and tears of innocent people. There is a murderous regime in Tel Aviv that has been committing genocide right before the eyes of the “civilised world.” The international community has failed to respond adequately to this crisis. The attacks on the starved, homeless, and defenceless people are a direct affront to humanity’s collective consciousness."
Altun further criticised the Zionist regime's disregard for human life, describing it as "shameful, horrible and disgusting."
Citing international powers' role in amplifying Israel's acts, Altun said, "Israel's entrenched policy of occupation and dispossession of Palestinians continues with the help and support of the strong allies, particularly the U.S., who have pretended to be brokering peace for so many years. Israel is telling us all very openly that it was all lies and deception."
Addressing the international community, Altun noted that the world must unite against this barbaric and senseless violence exacted upon Palestinian civilians, particularly women, children and the elderly.
Altun called for an immediate end to the violence and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state and said, "The world cannot wait any longer. Those responsible for the violence must be brought before justice and held accountable."
