The Presidency's Head of Communications, Fahrettin Altun of Türkiye, stated that Türkiye is ready to host negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine and "assume the responsibility of a mediator."
Speaking at the Turkish-German Media Forum today, Altun made the following remarks: "Türkiye continues dialogue with both sides and strives for a fair solution. We support all peace initiatives.
As our President has repeatedly stated, Türkiye stands ready to host further negotiations and to assume any role, including mediation, in the path toward peace."
