Turkish President urges diplomatic resolutions to global issues, including the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli conflict

On March 1, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated in Antalya that diplomatic solutions are necessary to address global issues such as the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Erdoğan emphasised in his address at the opening ceremony of the 3rd Antalya Diplomacy Forum the necessity of establishing an independent Palestinian state with territorial integrity and sovereignty, based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in order to resolve the Palestine-Israel conflict.

Erdoğan stated that his nation has been engaged in the fight against terrorism for four decades and is situated in a region beset by numerous challenges, including regional tensions and conflicts.

Under the theme "Advancing Diplomacy in Times of Turmoil," the "3rd Antalya Diplomacy Forum" primarily addresses the Palestine-Israel conflict, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and other significant international matters.

Attendees of the forum included Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban, and leaders and representatives from numerous countries.
