Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasises the importance of international partners cooperating for Syrian stability (SANA)

According to the Anadolu Agency, in a TV interview broadcast last night on NTV, Foreign Minister Fidan stated that "What is happening in the south of Syria may be the biggest threat for us right now. Israel's involvement as a party poses a risk, which is the problem."

Fidan noted that the lifting of some US restrictions on investments in Syria marked an important step, adding that while investments have begun to progress gradually, there are still significant needs, particularly in infrastructure and basic services, and meeting these will help to create favourable conditions for the return of Syrian refugees.

Fidan said that the persistence of the current situation endangers the security of Syria, Türkiye, and neighbouring countries, and urged the SDF to take immediate action towards implementing the March 10 agreement signed with the Syrian government.
