US President Donald Trump did not rule out the possibility of travelling to Türkiye to attend a potential meeting between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine and Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin on Thursday. Before his departure to the Middle East, Trump said, "I do not know where I will be on Thursday. I have many meetings scheduled, but I am considering actually flying over there.
Trump had expressed hope ahead of the possible meeting to be held on Thursday. Before the meeting, Trump said, "I think we may see a good result from this meeting. It is very important. I am very determined to see this meeting happen."
