President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye discussed the developments in Syria and Gaza with his American counterpart, Donald Trump, during a phone call.
During the phone call, Erdoğan said that Türkiye is closely monitoring the developments in Syria.
In the statement issued by the Presidency of Türkiye, it was stated, "President Erdoğan emphasised that Türkiye is closely monitoring the developments in Syria and that the unity and territorial integrity of Syria are important for Türkiye."
The Presidents also discussed the developments in Gaza.
Erdoğan conveyed to Trump that Türkiye would persist in collaborating with the United States to uphold peace.
