To express solidarity with the people of Gaza and condemn the continued crimes committed by the occupiers, activists in Türkiye transformed traffic lights into an urban display of solidarity with Palestine.
Turkish activists adorned the country's traffic lights with protest messages about the situation in Gaza. The green light read the message "Free Gaza," and the red light said "Stop Israel."
The streets of Spain had previously become a stage for a creative local initiative that transformed traffic lights to openly protest against the relentless crimes of the Zionist regime towards Gaza and stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine.
On one street, a red traffic light displayed the message "Stand against Israel," while the green light read "Freedom for Gaza." This serves as a direct message to the events unfolding before our eyes every day, as well as a reminder to the world of the ongoing genocide that began in October 2023.
