Türkish Presidency’s Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was lashing out at Türkiye to cover up his crimes.
In a post on his social media account, Altun stated that there is no amount of lying, disinformation, and deception that can conceal the historic massacres committed against innocent civilians, and said “History has already judged him as the most disastrous leader for this region as well as for his own country.”
Underscoring that there are leaders who sacrifice everything including their own lives for their country and for the cause of peace and prosperity, Altun said; “They will work day and night to improve the lives of their citizens and seek good relations with their neighbors. They will stand for truth and justice in global affairs because they recognize the historic burden on their shoulders. Our President Erdoğan is one such leader that we are proud to have as citizens of Türkiye.”
Highlighting that there are also leaders who sacrifice everything including universal human values and decency for their selfish political goals, Altun stated; “They will work day and night to conjure up plans to destroy the lives of those living under their occupation. They will constantly cause instability, conflict, and war in their neighborhood. They will perpetuate injustice because they don’t care about anyone else’s welfare but their own. Netanyahu is one such leader that is a disgrace to his country.”
Stating that no matter how much support Netanyahu’s murderous war cabinet receives from the global powers, he will go down in history as an utterly failed leader who has dashed hopes for peace and stability in this region, Altun made the following remarks:
“Palestinians have suffered so much and continue to do so as a result of the ethnic cleansing Netanyahu and his government are pursuing. We will continue to oppose his policies with all our power. We will not be intimidated by his lies, deception, false accusations, and efforts to change the subject. We, as Türkiye, will stand firmly for truth, justice and decolonization in Palestine under the leadership of our President Erdoğan. We will work toward a fair and final resolution, which we believe to be a two-state solution. And we will continue to stand in full solidarity with our Palestinian brothers and sisters.”
