The Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation announced that Russia and Türkiye will continue their efforts to improve the safety of urban infrastructure facilities in earthquake-prone areas.
The first meeting of the Russian-Turkish working group was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation, and Climate Change of the Republic of Türkiye, discussing areas of cooperation in the fields of urban development, restoration of facilities damaged by the earthquake, and technical regulatory framework of the construction industry.
The meeting, during which experiences were shared, also highlighted the procedures for issuing permits for construction and commissioning of facilities.
