According to the minutes of the 19th meeting of the Türkiye-Russia Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, the two countries agreed to strengthen agricultural cooperation.
The minutes stated, "The parties agreed to continue strengthening the existing bilateral cooperation in agriculture with the aim of increasing and diversifying the Russian-Turkish trade volume in agricultural products."
Aside from that, countries will strengthen scientific and technological collaboration in the areas of genetic improvement, vaccination, and agricultural education.
Russia and Türkiye agreed to organise the next meeting of the Agriculture Executive Committee in 2025-2026.
