Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, met with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye in Ankara on February 25, 2025, as part of her working visit. During the meeting, Gulmanova extended an official invitation to President Erdoğan to attend an international forum in Ashgabat dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality and the "International Year of Peace and Trust."
Gulmanova later conveyed greetings and best wishes to President Erdoğan on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The meeting underscored that the historical, cultural, and spiritual ties between the peoples of the two countries continued to grow stronger based on mutual respect and trust.
