Yesterday marked the arrival of the President of Türkiye in Madrid for a two-day official visit that will feature talks with Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and King Felipe VI. The agenda of Erdoğan's meeting with Sánchez, as reported by Turkish media, includes the urgent need for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the facilitation of the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian territories, and South Africa's case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague, which accuses Israel of "genocide." Subsequent to his Spain visit, President of Türkiye will proceed to Bari, Italy, to attend the G7 Summit, which kicks off tomorrow. As reported by the Turkish newspaper "Hürriyet," Erdoğan is also scheduled to attend the NATO Summit in Washington from July 9–11. During the summit, he will "engage in meetings with other leaders, including Joe Biden."
