The Kremlin Press Service announced that President Vladimir Putin of Russia, during a phone call with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye, extended his Eid al-Fitr greetings to the President and the Turkish people.
Putin and Erdoğan discuss cooperation in various fields
A statement from the Kremlin regarding the call noted the following: “The phone conversation focused on current issues related to the further development of mutually beneficial Russia-Türkiye cooperation in various fields, including strategic projects in the energy sector. The positive dynamics of bilateral relations and the growth of mutual trade were welcomed.”

The Kremlin statement also emphasised: “It was agreed to maintain contacts at various levels.”
