President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye stated that Türkiye would never allow Syria to be divided and become a conflict zone again.
President Erdoğan said, "I want to say this to those who covet Syrian territory: Türkiye will not stand by and will not allow this region to descend into a bloodbath once more."
Erdoğan reiterated Türkiye's support for the safe and voluntary return of Syrian refugees to their homeland.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned Israel's entry into the buffer zone and subsequent advance into Syrian territory in violation of the 1974 Syrian-Israeli "Disengagement Agreement" in a statement issued yesterday.
