Prime Minister Donald Tusk of Poland visited Türkiye and met with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Following the meeting, Tusk stated at a joint press conference that he had given a proposal to Erdoğan to assume the greatest possible shared responsibility for the peace process and to ensure regional stability and security.
Erdoğan stated that the parties discussed the steps to be taken to end the Ukrainian crisis and exchanged views on the developments in Syria and other regional issues.
The meeting also addressed economic relations between Türkiye and Poland.
President Erdoğan emphasised that Türkiye is ready to provide a venue for talks between Ukraine and Russia and to offer other necessary support. Erdoğan reiterated Türkiye's commitment to making efforts to ensure peace.
