According to APA, the Presidency’s Head of Communications of the Republic of Türkiye, Fahrettin Altun, announced that President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan will pay a visit to Türkiye on June 19 at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Fahrettin Altun stated that, as part of the visit, the Presidents will attend the inauguration ceremony of a permanent housing project named the “Azerbaijan Neighbourhood” in Kahramanmaraş, which was constructed jointly by Türkiye and Azerbaijan following the February 2023 earthquake.
Fahrettin Altun also noted that, during the visit, the two sides are expected to exchange views on bilateral relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, as well as on current regional developments.
