According to Iranian media, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a telephone conversation with Iranian President Ibrahim Reisi on Wednesday evening, after the terrorist attack in the city of Kerman that killed at least 103 people and injured more than 200 people.
In the press release made by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, it was stated that President Erdoğan expressed his condolences to Ebrahim Raisi, "condemned the terrorist attack targeting civilians", stated that "Türkiye stands by Iran in the fight against terrorism" and wished "patience to the Iranian people".
Turkish President reiterated his call on Iran to act together in the fight against terrorism. During the dialogue, the two leaders also agreed to postpone the Iranian President's planned visit to Türkiye to a later date.
