President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye met with Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh of the Government of National Unity of Libya in Ankara.
President Erdoğan appreciated Libya's stance on the Palestinian issue.
Erdoğan and Dbeibeh met in Ankara today and exchanged views on different cooperation issues between Ankara and Tripoli and the efforts to support the Palestinian cause.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan of Türkiye and Minister of State for Prime Ministerial Affairs in the Government of National Unity Adel Jumaa were also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, Erdoğan appreciated Libya's stance at the International Court of Justice, stating that they share Türkiye's stance.
The two leaders also discussed other issues.
Erdoğan and Dbeibeh highlighted the significance of supporting the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) and cooperating with relevant countries to ensure fair and transparent elections in Libya.
