Erzurum province, located in eastern Türkiye and declared the Tourism Capital for 2025 by the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO), is set to host the Palandöken Economic Forum on April 26 and 27, 2005.
The event will be held under the theme ''An Equitable Future in a Smart World: Intelligent Economies and Global Inequality". Leading politicians, academics, and entrepreneurs from various countries will gather to discuss the effects of digital transformation, particularly artificial intelligence, on today's economies.
The forum is scheduled to feature five main sessions and two special sessions. People from Switzerland, France, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as ECO member countries, will participate as speakers.
The forum will further include a tourism ministers' summit, a tree planting ceremony on behalf of ECO countries, and the opening of the KUDAKAF'25, a regional career fair to be held in Northeast Anatolia.
