The Ministry of Defence of Indonesia has reportedly purchased twelve ANKA unmanned combat aerial vehicles from Türkiye.

A statement issued yesterday by the Ministry of Defence of Indonesia revealed that 12 UCAVs worth $300 million were purchased from Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TUSAŞ) to bolster the Indonesian army's defence capabilities.

The statement noted that the purchase aims to increase the variety, quantity, and quality of the country's defence equipment and that 12 UCAVs, scheduled to be delivered in November 2025, would be used by the Indonesian army's air, land, and naval forces.

It was also stated that the Indonesian military would receive training and logistical support.

ANKA UCAVs with a length of 8.6 metres can remain airborne for approximately 30 hours at an altitude of 9,100 metres.
