Foreign military representatives to meet in Türkiye to discuss Black Sea security, Turkish ministry says (United Kingdom)

Military representatives of Türkiye and foreign nations will meet in Türkiye on April 15-16 to discuss Black Sea security after a possible ceasefire is agreed between Ukraine and Russia, Turkish defence ministry said on Sunday.

"A meeting will be held on April 15-16 at the Naval Forces Headquarters regarding the security of the Black Sea following a possible ceasefire between the Russian Federation and Ukraine," the ministry said in a statement.

The ministry didn't specify the countries that would attend the meeting.

Separately, the ministry said Russia and Ukraine would not attend the meeting later this week.
