In a statement, Presidency's Head of Communications Fahrettin Altun prayed for Allah's mercy for the martyrs and for the immediate recovery of those injured in the terrorist attack on the Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TAI) campus in Kahramankazan.
Head of Communications Altun stated that the relevant institutions are carrying out the necessary investigations and efforts with meticulous attention in the wake of the heinous attack.
Fahrettin Altun said, "We would like to reiterate that social media platforms should never permit content that serves as a foundation for terrorist propaganda. It is critical that these platforms adopt a more responsible attitude toward ensuring society's peace and security. Similarly, by carefully reporting on terrorism and remaining aware of terrorist propaganda, the media must ensure that the public is well informed. This sense of responsibility will play a critical part in preventing the spread of terrorism. We respectfully appeal that our citizens remain cautious against disinformation activities and heed only the information provided by official sources, as is customary in comparable processes. Until we eradicate the terrorist threat to our country, our fight will persist unabated both within and beyond our borders."
