President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia held a phone conversation to discuss the normalisation of relations between the two countries as well as regional developments.
The two sides discussed the normalisation process between Türkiye and Armenia, in addition to regional issues.
According to the Presidency of Türkiye, Pashinyan congratulated Erdoğan on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
President Erdoğan stated that the normalisation process between Türkiye and Armenia is continuing through steps aimed at launching direct trade between the two countries.
Erdoğan also emphasised that Türkiye is committed to strengthening peace and stability in the region and will continue to support all initiatives in this direction.
