President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that Türkiye will meticulously monitor the strict implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and will do everything in its power to promote the region's development.
The President said, "Despite all the difficulties, we believe that the Gaza agreement is of immense significance. We do not want bloodshed in the region and children dying of hunger. It is now crucial that the agreement is strictly implemented. We will make every effort for the implementation of the agreement and the reconstruction of Gaza."
The President, reflecting on the possibility of Israel violating the mentioned agreement, stated, "We acknowledge Israel's track record of failing to keep its promises. The cost of returning to genocide would be very heavy."
President Erdoğan has previously stated that Türkiye intends to engage in the monitoring process of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and will join the task force responsible for overseeing the implementation of the ceasefire agreement on the ground.
