President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, stated in his New Year message to members of the armed forces that Türkiye has taken transformative steps in the defence sector in order to ensure regional and global stability.
Speaking by phone to troops on the evening of Wednesday, December 31, President Erdoğan referred to the progress his country has made in the field of defence.
President Erdoğan noted that Türkiye is building a self-sufficient military infrastructure by utilising domestic resources and emphasised that, despite serious challenges and obstacles, the country has a historic opportunity to turn its recent gains into lasting achievements.
President Erdoğan underlined that his government remains determined to further strengthen Türkiye and to leave future generations a new, strong, and great Türkiye.
