According to a statement by the Presidency of Türkiye, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said during his meeting with President Peter Pellegrini of Slovakia that Türkiye was continuing its efforts to achieve a diplomatic resolution to the conflicts in Ukraine and around Iran.
The meeting was held at the Presidential Complex in Ankara on the sidelines of the NATO Summit. In addition to bilateral relations, the leaders discussed regional and global issues.
A statement issued by the Presidency of Türkiye on the outcome of the meeting said, “Türkiye continues its efforts to bring the wars in Ukraine and Iran to an end through diplomacy.
Erdoğan urged Türkiye and Slovakia to boost efforts to achieve the mutual trade and investment targets. Erdoğan noted that expanding cooperation in energy and transportation would be mutually advantageous for both countries.
Moreover, Erdoğan said Ankara continues to actively pursue efforts to help establish lasting peace and stability in the Gaza Strip and bring an end to the humanitarian catastrophe affecting the Palestinian enclave.
