According to a statement from the Presidency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan told Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia that the success of the Gaza Peace Plan depends on Israel fully fulfilling its obligations in the second phase of the plan.
Following the phone call, a statement from the Turkish Presidency said, “Israel’s strict adherence to the roadmap for the second phase of the Gaza Peace Plan is essential for the plan to succeed.”
During the phone call, Erdoğan and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia discussed bilateral relations between Türkiye and Saudi Arabia, as well as regional and global issues.
The Turkish leader stated that Ankara is closely following developments and will continue to support efforts to achieve lasting peace.
Erdoğan also expressed Türkiye’s sorrow over the attacks against Saudi Arabia and stated that they are working to establish lasting peace and ensure tranquility and stability in the region.
