In his address, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan strongly condemned the Israeli violence against Palestinian women in the Gaza Strip, stressing that these atrocities have not elicited a sufficient response in the past two years.
Speaking at the Presidential Complex in Ankara on Tuesday to observe the "International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women," Erdoğan noted that two-thirds of the 70,000 people massacred throughout the Israeli regime's genocide in the Gaza Strip were women and children.
Erdoğan, condemning Israel's atrocities against Palestinian women in the Gaza Strip, stated, “These figures are staggering for anyone with a conscience, and no one who possesses a sense of humanity could remain indifferent to these tragedies. Nevertheless, we are dealing with a long-running, tragic, and disgraceful double standard."
"We will defend the truth, regardless of the oppressor or the oppressed, and we will voice it loudly on every platform," emphasised Erdoğan.
The President of Türkiye stated that the number of children massacred by the Israeli regime in Gaza over the past two years has surpassed 20,000 and remarked, "The violence endured by Gazan women in the last two years has not elicited a sufficient response. The identities of the perpetrator and the victim have once again determined the tone of the response. Unfortunately, the pressure on Israel has not been proportionate to the gravity of the crimes it has committed."
Although the Israeli regime's attacks persist in Gaza despite the announced ceasefire, the international community witnesses this regime's refusal to honour its commitments and uphold the ceasefire amidst the silence of the mediators of the agreement.
