Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan invited President Vladimir Putin of Russia to Türkiye.

"In light of the positive relations between Russia and Türkiye, I extend a warm welcome to host you in my country at the earliest opportunity," Erdoğan expressed during his meeting with Putin at the SCO Summit in Astana.

Putin, who had a meeting with Erdoğan at the SCO Summit in Astana, expressed his firm intention to visit Türkiye.

Based on previous statements from the Kremlin, the date of Putin's visit to Türkiye has not been determined yet due to the busy schedules of the Presidents of the two countries.
