President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held separate telephone conversations with the leaders of the United States, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates to discuss recent developments in West Asia.
Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran stated in a post on his X social media account on Sunday morning that President Erdoğan and President Trump discussed the latest situation in Iran and the Gulf countries during their call.
Erdoğan also held separate conversations with the leader of the United Arab Emirates and the Emir of Qatar.
Earlier, the President of Türkiye had expressed that he was “deeply saddened” over the recent attack by the United States and Israel against Iran, stating that this attack began as "a result of Netanyahu’s provocations".
