Türkiye may soon take concrete steps to normalise relations with Syria. This statement was made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan upon his return from Washington, where he attended the NATO summit.
According to Anadolu Agency, Erdoğan stated, "I have instructed Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to meet with his colleagues and draft a roadmap for the process. We consistently emphasise that Syria's territorial integrity aligns with our interests. Currently, the normalisation process is progressing positively. I hope we will take concrete steps soon."
