The President of Türkiye told the Turkish Parliament in Ankara on Sunday that the "criminals" have not achieved and will never achieve their goals, according to the official news agency Anadolu Agency.
According to information received from the government, two "terrorists" tried to enter the Ministry of Interior in the capital on Sunday morning. Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya said that one of the two terrorists blew himself up in front of the building entrance, and the other was shot in the head and killed. In the firefight that ensued following the explosion, two police officers sustained minor injuries.
