The 43rd Turkish Day Parade, traditionally held in New York under the coordination of the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, took place with a large attendance and great enthusiasm.
The Turkish-American community's traditional parade, held for the 43rd time this year, drew thousands of Turkish-American people in New York. The parade and the celebratory programme held afterwards showcased colourful and enthusiastic moments.
The parade and festival, which were first organised in 1981 by the Federation of Turkish American Associations (TADF) to protest the assassination of Turkish diplomats in the US by the Armenian terrorist organisation ASALA, were attended by representatives of Türkiye's diplomatic missions in the United States, several government officials, artists from Türkiye, and representatives of various non-governmental organisations.
